So often, women find themselves ignored, pushed aside, or given a halfway measure meant to just shut them up, when they dare to mention they are struggling with their mental well-being. No more! We deserve to feel good about ourselves. We deserve to love ourselves and our lives. Click to continue reading…

Have you ever had someone in your life who just triggers you constantly? They barely have to breathe, and you react by feeling agitated and upset. Why Me?

We all do it. Something shitty happens, and we go off on a rant (either internally or externally) about why this stuff keeps happening to ME. What did I do to deserve this? How do I make sure this never happens again? Click to continue reading…

Past, we need to talk…

I wrote this a few years ago, as a tool to help me ditch my past and my limiting beliefs around my self-worth and my self-love. I read it regularly for a few months until it really sunk in and I could think of my past without fear or sadness. It’s a great tool to use when we are trying to make peace with our past and let go of the crap we tend to use as an anchor when we are anxious and fearful of the future, and we don’t value ourselves properly. Past, we need to talk…. Click to continue reading…

Apologizing — the best way to lose your power!

The other day, I was running late for a meeting, and feeling frazzled and rushed, and my mom called. She has the best timing for this. I swear, she talks to my voicemail more often than me, because she always seems to know when I am the busiest I can possibly be, and makes sure to call me right then! I missed the call, and immediately called her back, despite the rush, to see what was going on (you never know, one of these times it may well be more important than just checking up on me.) What was the very first word out of my mouth, even before hello? That Inner Child Of Mine…And Yours!

So, the other day, I had a client book a first call with me. She then proceeded to disappear. I sent her a follow-up email letting her know what to do next, which she didn’t respond to. I also sent her a reminder an hour before the session was supposed to start, with no response. I can’t even be mad at her for bailing; I know exactly what happened. Click to continue reading…

The Evil Twins

Stress and anxiety are rising to astronomical levels in the western world, and we are finding it harder and harder to bring balance into our highly unbalanced lives. I call them the evil twins — and they both stem from self esteem issues. Anxiety is fear of the future. Stress is a failure to say no to others. But…what if it was possible to stop this unwanted cycle of anxiety, stress, fatigue and frustration that is slowly killing you? What if you could bring some balance into your life, and make positive shifts towards a healthy, happy future? Is this just a cruel myth, or is it possible? Click here to continue reading
